Mattress Care and Maintenance

Protect Your Investment

By taking a little extra care of your bed in your waking hours, you can be confident that your bed will continue to take care of you while you sleep.

Mattress Protection

We do not recommend using a thick mattress pad or protector with your mattress. These items add another "layer" between you and the Visco elastic material, reducing its ability to conform to your body.

If you use a mattress protector, try to opt for one that is not so thick, so as not to interfere with the pressure relieving properties of the top layer of your mattress.

Electric blankets

We do not recommend using an electric blanket or heating pad with your mattress due to the negative electrostatic effects on the body. Also, due to the temperature-sensitivity of the Viscoelastic Memory Foam, adding high heat can hinder its ability to react to your body temperature and conform to your body shape.

If you must use an electric blanket, we recommend limiting its use to 20-30 minutes and on a low to medium heat. Since the mattress is a full solid, it will heat up much quicker than spring mattresses, retaining the heat much longer also.

Keeping Pillows Fresh

Remove the pillowcase and cover and roll the pillow (like a sleeping bag) then unroll.  Repeat this procedure, rolling in the opposite direction

Handling Your Mattress

If needed, our mattresses can be folded for short time frames.  Ensure that the Top side is in the inner folded side and It is recommended not to leave the mattress folded for more than a few hours. Once unfolded it will retain its original position in no time.

Cleaning

Clean your bed every other month with a soft brush to keep it clear of dust and fluff. Treat stains and spills immediately using dry towels or paper towels. Do not use detergents or chemical cleaners as this may bleach or disintegrate the fabric.

Washing the cover

The covers on most of our pillows and cushions can be removed and washed. We recommend machine washing at 30Degrees delicate wash and a cool setting for machine drying. Air-drying is best. Do not "over-dry" and do not use chlorine products or harsh stain removers of any kind. Please refer to the tags sewn into the cover or contact our Customer Services department.

Cleaning spills

If you spill liquid on your mattress, please take the following steps:

· Remove the cover, wash it in warm water with mild detergent, and hang dry for best results. Never use bleach or bleaching products with the cover.

· After the cover has been removed, soak up as much of the liquid using towels as possible. This may require pressing down on the core material with the towel(s) to release the moisture.

· Once excess moisture is removed, let the mattress air dry.

· Never wash the core material of the mattresses.

· The core of the mattress should never become wet.

Flipping and rotating

All of our mattresses use our patented, one-sided design that means you'll never have to flip, rotate, or turn it. The material we use will soften a little once its adapted to your body but it will return to its original shape time after time, year after year, ensuring your mattress feels like new, always.
